Upgrades Overview

Upgrades are one of the core pillars of rogue-like genre. They allow for permanent progression between standard runs, and allow players to venture further each time.

Naturally, this tempate features Upgrade System as well. In the game they are represented as a part of the Main Menu:

While being expandable, it includes several useful upgrades out of the box:

• Rapid Strikes - enhances the player's attack speed.

• Vitality Boost - increases the player's max HP.

• Critical Chance - multiplies the critical hit probability.

• Dodge Chance - makes the player dodge enemy attacks more frequently.

• Wave Recovery - restores some amount of health after each wave.

• Agility Boost - increases the player's movement speed.

• Power Surge - boosts the player's attack damage.

• Revival - lets you revive after a defeat.

• Fortified Armor - increases the player's damage reduction.

Opening an Upgrade will show a detailed description and adjacent stats:
